Lake Road Chapel is
the meeting place for a non-denominational body of Christians
in Kirksville, Missouri. Its pastors are Charles Leiter and Richard
Ochs. The church is made up of several families, as well as students
from nearby Truman State University and the Kirksville College
of Osteopathic Medicine. Publications include the tracts
"Born-Againism" and "Ten Lies That College
Students Hear," written by Richard Ochs, and "Baptism or Christ"
by Charles Leiter. Lake Road Chapel is located just outside the Kirksville
city limits, at 22963 Potter Trail.
The Christians who meet
together at Lake Road Chapel believe the Bible is the inspired
and inerrant Word of God, that Jesus Christ is its grand theme,
and
that salvation
is wrought through the atoning blood of Christ alone by the convicting
and regenerating power of the Holy Spirit. It is their desire to
know the Lord Jesus deeper day by day and become more conformed
to His perfect life so that lost souls may be saved and He may
get the glory.
